Unlimited usage, one flat annual plan

Kinfolk is one flat annual plan — never per seat, per agent, per ticket or per resolution. Users, admins and conversations are unlimited on every plan, across HR and IT, so your price doesn’t move when volume spikes.

No surprises, no overhead, no portals

Deterministic and controlled

Workflows are deterministic with full control, governance and audit logs — not autonomous agents doing unpredictable things.

Non-technical to build

Your teams create and maintain workflows without engineering. Easy to build and — unlike home-grown automations — designed to stay easy to maintain

Slack & Teams native

No new portal to register, no change to how employees already work. Kin lives in the tools your company opens every day.

Replace complexity with capacity

Do more without adding more admin as your business grows
Before Kin

A disjointed stack

  • Chatbot + ticketing system
  • Workflow automation tools
  • Integrations to maintain
  • Security & governance controls
  • Growing admin headcount
After Kin

One plan, less admin

  • 80%+ of requests handled without a human
  • SLAs hit consistently
  • High employee CSAT
  • Less maintenance as AI evolves
  • More time for impactful work

Enterprise governance on every plan

Role-based access, full audit trails, field-level controls, time-bound access, break-glass and access-event logging, and SSO are included on all three plans. Governance isn't reserved for the top tier — for most teams it's the reason the conversation starts.

Pricing
FAQs

How much does Kinfolk cost?

Kinfolk is one flat annual fee set by your company's headcount tier — not per user, per admin, per ticket or per resolution. Core and Plus are priced by band; Pro is scoped to what you're building, then fixed for the term. Users, admins, conversations and workflow runs are unlimited on every plan. Kinfolk fits organizations of roughly 500 to 5,000 employees. Book a demo for a quote.

How much does an AI agent for HR or IT cost?

AI agent pricing comes in three shapes. Enterprise AI assistants license every employee, per year. Help desk and ITSM software charges per agent seat and sells AI as a paid add-on, with automation runs metered above an allowance. Kinfolk charges one flat annual fee by headcount tier, covering HR and IT, with AI and unlimited automation runs included. Which model you're on matters more than the headline rate, because two of the three re-price every time you grow.

What is a headcount tier, and does our price rise when we hire?

A headcount tier is the employee-count band that sets your annual price. It holds as you grow within a band and steps up only when total headcount moves into a larger one, at your next renewal. It doesn't move when you hire one person, add admins, or have a month where volume spikes.

What is the difference between Core, Plus and Pro?

The difference is mainly agentic workflows. Core runs the full AI service desk: Kin answers questions, resolves standard requests, triages and routes what needs a person, and tracks SLAs. Plus adds up to five agentic workflows per product, so Kin writes back to your HRIS, runs processes, grants and revokes access, and manages devices. Pro removes the cap and adds a dedicated Forward-Deployed Engineer building alongside your team.

What is an agentic workflow?

An agentic workflow is a multi-step process Kin runs in your systems, rather than a question it answers. Onboarding a joiner, processing a PTO request in your HRIS, generating and filing a verification letter, or granting and later revoking access are all agentic workflows. Answering a question from your knowledge base or HR system is not — that's on every plan.

How many workflows will we need, and what if we need more?

Most teams start with five per product, which covers the highest-volume repeat work in HR or IT. Which five is agreed upon during a scoped proof of concept, because complexity varies — pulling a field from your HRIS is a different build from a process spanning two systems with branching approvals. If you need more, whether that's three or thirty, we scope it and set one price for the term. It doesn't creep between those conversations.

Can we buy Kin for HR without Kin for IT?

Yes. They can be bought on their own or together, on a single plan. Allowances such as workflow count apply to each product you run, and buying both costs meaningfully less than buying them separately.

Does the price include implementation and support?

Yes. Every plan includes onboarding, training, implementation, launch support and customer success check-ins — not billed as a separate professional-services fee. There's no charge for the integrations Kin needs to do its job.

How does Kinfolk compare to Moveworks, ServiceNow or Jira?

Moveworks, now part of ServiceNow, is priced per employee per year. ServiceNow licenses a mix of seats and per-employee modules; Jira Service Management charges per agent seat. All three price by counting something that grows, and all quote implementation separately. Kinfolk charges one flat annual fee by headcount tier, with AI, unlimited automation runs, HR and IT, and implementation included. Kinfolk can replace them — every plan includes a full service desk — and it connects bi-directionally with Jira and ServiceNow, so teams that aren't ready to migrate can keep their system of record while Kin resolves requests in Slack and Teams.

Is it cheaper to build this ourselves?

Sometimes, for one simple use case. It stops being cheaper once you're maintaining connectors, replacing the person who built it, and rebuilding as models improve — costs that never appear as a licence line.

Is there a free trial or proof of concept?

There's no self-serve free trial. Kinfolk is configured against your HRIS, knowledge bases and workflows, so evaluations start with a demo and a scoped proof of concept — which is also where workflow scope gets agreed, making the annual price firm rather than an estimate.

Is our data secure?

Yes. Every plan includes role-based access permissions, full audit trails, field-level controls, time-bound access, break-glass and access-event logging, and SSO. Kinfolk is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certified, with GDPR compliance in every signed DPA.
