Step 1: Get your company set up on KinfolkBefore installing our Slack app, your company needs an active Kinfolk account. The quickest way to do this is to schedule a demo with us. Go to the
Meet Kin page to schedule a call. We'll have your organization up and running in no time.
Step 2: Access the IntegrationOnce your account is active:
- Log into your Kinfolk dashboard
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Find and click the "Add to Slack" button
- Follow the prompts to authorize the connection
Kinfolk will respond to any direct messages. You can ask questions about company policies or other documents made available, approve requests, and update employee information directly from Slack.
Privacy & Data Handling:
- Kinfolk only shares information with users who have appropriate permissions in both systems
- Employee data is securely transmitted between platforms
- No sensitive employee information is stored in Slack
